NUOZONE – 5 GRAM AND 10 GRAM OEM OZONE GENERATOR MODULES

WITH DETACHABLE ELECTRODE AND POWER & HT SUPPLY

 

 

Nuozone have announced  newly developed self contained 5 gram and 10 gram OEM ozone units. The new concept is totally modular, comprising power supply, high tension unit and Dielectric Barrier Corona Discharge glass electrode and allows for the easy replacement of parts and can be configured in multiples into housings of your choice, air treatment plants or ducting. (with sufficientcooling),   This unit is for the generation of ozone into air and not water. 

The unit uses just ambient air to produce Ozone (O3).

The innovative NUOZONE ozone module with integrated corona electrode and AC mains transformer is able to produce a high ozone output of around 5 grams or 10 grams per hour into air with low power consumption and without a supplementary oxygen or compressed air feed.

Using the most advanced Dielectric Barrier Corona Discharge technology the durable unit is highly efficient and able to operate in harsh environments using just ambient air and requiring only casing with a single phase power mains supply and airflow fan (a dust filter and pressure switch is also recommended.)

Multiple units can be accommodated within a single case to increase ozone output.

The electrodes have been constructed and refined from our own experience of sewage pumping stations, where the electrode are working in a bad environment non stop, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In spite of the bad conditions, we have found that on running the electrodes with a satisfactory air supply, periodic cleaning/washing and air filtration, electrode performance remains constant for at least a whole year (7000 hours appx.).

SPECIFICATIONS

The Nuozone Three part modules can be incorporated into a stand alone unit to generate ozone into AIR. A suitable enclosure and fan needs to be constructed. The unit can also be incorporated into ducting.

Each of our units will generate 5 grams or 10 grams of ozone/hour +/- 10% at ambient temperatures of 25 degrees Centigrade, at a humidity of 80% at sea level atmospheric pressure.

The 10 gram unit shares the existing electrode and high tension unit with the existing 5 gram model, the electronic component however being of totally new design to produced increased ozone output

The Double Barrier Discharge  structure allows the use of a high voltage between 10-15 KV and with a frequency of up to 20,000 Hz.  to support the linear output.

The power supply and high voltage units are hermetically sealed and the internal circuitry potted in a tamper proof resin. The unit requires only single phase power mains supply and airflow fan (dust filter and pressure switch also recommended). Modular design allows for the easy and cost effective replacement of parts if necessary

The unit uses approximately 125 watts at 230 volts AC 50 cycles (0.6 amps)  - (110 Volt 60 cycle units with step up transformer for U.S. market available)

All components are UL certified

The electrode must be  air cooled by system airflow.

Recommended Minimum air cooling required:

5 GRAM - 150 cubic feet/minute  (4.25 cubic metres/minute – 255 Cu/Metres/Hour) This equates to around a 300 cubic metre/hour fan on pre-charge to account for the pre filter and other internal components that will in increase the pressure loss.

10 GRAM - 300 cubic feet/minute  (8.5 cubic metres/minute – 500Cu/Metres/Hour) This equates to around a 600cubic metre/hour fan on pre-charge to account for the pre filter and other internal components that will in increase the pressure loss.

  Sampling is now available to qualifying companies.
